Clutches

A clutch that slips as you accelerate, judders as it takes up, or has a pedal that feels heavy or drops to the floor is usually telling you it is near the end of its life.

Sometimes the clutch itself is fine and the fault is in the hydraulics — a master or slave cylinder — which is a much smaller job. We check which it is before quoting for the work.
